OAs and Friends of the Abberley Hall Foundation met at Wellington Barracks in Central London on Wednesday 25th November.  Edward Harley, himself an OA, and President of the Historic Houses Association prompted some amusing memories of school life and made a compelling case for preserving Abberley Hall for future generations.  Plans to begin conservation are now in place for Summer 2010, starting in the Entrance Hall of the main house.  This date has been revised to make certain of completing the work within the rigid demands of the School calendar.
